This course will review the pros and cons of carpet characteristics, such as fiber content and construction; in conjunction with a brief overview of carpet maintenance and related standards; as well as an overview of carpet installation standards. 
  Course Objective: To offer critical information relating to carpet characteristics, maintenance and installation in order to avoid unrealistic consumer expectations from mis-information.
  Intended Audience: This course is designed for interior designers, consultants, specifiers, architects and all associated with the floor covering, restoration, mitigation cleaning, and construction industries.

  Continuing Education Credits:
3 Course Hours. This course is approved for IICRC continuing education credits. It is important that you understand that in order to accumulate any IICRC CECs, you will need to complete a minimum of 3.5 hours (for a 1/2 (.5) of credit) with any combination of these courses. In order to obtain a full credit hour you will need to complete a combination totaling 7 hours. In order to obtain 2 full CEC credits you will need to complete an accumulation of 14 hours on-line. Note that each course is assigned a number of hours. This does not compute to number of continuing education credits, only hours.
